Dear customer,

The following illustration will help you understand the procedure and soft/hardware you need to do what you want to do.

The general requirements are:
  1. A CD+G compatible CD-ROM : In order to capture GRAPHIC tracks of the CD+G disc, you need a CD+G compatible CD-ROM drive. CD/DVD drives in general are not CD+G compatible. When you are buying a CD+G compatible drive, look at the specifications and find whether it says "CD+G" under supported media or supported cd format.

  2. Encoder MCG : This is a program that converts CD+G tracks of the CD+G disc from the drive described in (1). This program creates MP3(audio) and MCG(graphic) files out of your CD+G tracks.
Check our website for more information: http://www.cavsusa.com/playcdg_home/encoder_mcg.htm

  3. SCDG_ENCODER : The SuperCDG Encoder converts MP3 and MCG files into SuperCDG data file and folder. When this folder(containing data file) is copied on the CD or DVD, depending on the data file size, the disc becomes SuperCDG disc.
Super CDG Encoder for personal use is FREE : http://www.cavsusa.com/SuperCDG/scdg_make.html

  4. CD/DVD Writer : Writes the supercdg folder with data on to the CD or DVD media. Depending on the data size(number of songs), a CD or DVD can be used.
